1. Sorry, I have no idea what a black grid is.
2. The Earth takes 24 hours to rotate one time. A point exactly halfway around the Earth is exactly 12 hours different from your time. For instance, if it's 4 am at your location, then it would be 4 pm on the other side of the earth. I'm sure you can figure out the answer to this part of your question now.
3. Lattitude is a measure of how north or south you are from the earth's equator and is measured in degrees. The lattitude at the equator is zero, the north pole is at 90 degrees north and the south pole is at 90 degrees south. Longitude is a measure of how east or west you are from the PRIME MERIDIAN (See link, below).
Now a line of lattitude is drawn on maps to connect places that are the same distance from the equator. Oddly, these lines run east-west across the map. This is because a line of lattitude connects places that are the same distance away from the equator and isn't concerned about their longitude(east/west location). One of the more important lines of lattitude covers most of the border between the US and Canada. It's at about 54 degrees north lattitude.
Lines of longitude connect points on a map that are the same distance from the Prime Meridian, and therefore are measured in terms of east and west longitude. Because of the same reasoning I used in the lattitude discussion, above, they run north south. Locations on the same line of longitude have the same distance in degrees away from the prime meridian.
In your problem, it asked what line of longitude does a point at 30 degrees south & 92 degrees west lie? Since we know that lines of lattitude are measured in north south, then it follows that the point is on the 30 degrees north lattitude, and on the ___ degrees west longitude. At this point, I'm pretty sure you can fill in the blank.
4. This problem isn't always obvious, but this mental model may help. Consider that the earth is like a vast merry go round. And you and I are stuck on the very outside. Imagine yourself laying down on the ground, looking up at the sky, with your head towards the north and your feet towards the south. Now imagine looking up at the sky and watching the sun cross the sky from east to west. Now consider that the earth is the giant merry go round and your facing out, looking at the scenery passing by. The sun, in this case, is the scenery. This same thought experiment would work at night, except the scenery would be the moon, planets and stars, whizzing by from east to west at the same speed as the sun. If you were looking out from the side of a merry go round watching the scenery go by, you'ld have no trouble figuring out which direction the merry go was turning. I hope you can figure the answer from here.
5. 80 degrees north is pretty far north, as you can tell from the discussion earlier about the range of lattitude. It's important to note that at 80 degrees north, all the bears are white.
