Personally, I am not as scared of them anymore but I guess that's because I didn't have an allergic reaction and I didn't think it hurt as bad as I'd imagined. It did sting me 3 times though....

As a kid I was fascinated by animals and funnily enough I became a vet because of that. I remember as a kid wanting to catch bees to look at them, never killed them of course on purpose but got stung twice before I realised they hurt. (In later years when I heard they died I felt a hell of a lot worse.) Unfortunately whilst doing farm work as part of my vet course one farm I worked at used to buy stale bread to feed their cattle. Frequently when I unwrapped the stale donuts that bees liked to feed on I was stung. It hurts but no more than a paper cut type feel. It is not something I would do for a dare but at the same time despite a black belt in tae kwondo I have a low pain tolerance yet I can cope with a bee sting so with passing years I am less scared of them

I htink wasp are worse than bees. If you eat a teaspoon of honey you will build up a tollerance for these pests.

I don't think I'm more scared of them, but I never have been scared of them. So I guess for me neither, I have never been afraid of bees.

Me.....8 times! It has made me bolder. Whenever I see any bee or wasp, I kill it with an insecticide.
