We are supposed to get one here in Chillcothe, OH in mid-2008. I wanted to know what it has, if it's worth my time to visit. We have a Lowe's in town and personally, the place is dirty, no one is willing to help you, and it is impossible to walk in and just look for something without knowing where it exactly is located. I have heard it is a nice place. Just wanted anyone's opinion on it if they have one nearby or shop at one regularly.

Menard's is like a Wal-mart - Lowes in one store. Generally they are normally nice,well lit and clean stores. I have never had any problems finding a store employee to assist me either.
They have good prices on most things and even have a lot of good rebates for certain items.

i think more like a hardware/ furniture store......like....sears/home depot.
