ok well my little sister is going to middle school and we are moving but you see she is going to be transfered over towards the end of the year. She is totally panicking about what if she doesn't make friends or what if she does even worse in school. She is in independent studies right now and hasn't been doing good so far because she doesn't get algebra. I tried talking to her about it but she won't listen. Can somebody that has had a recent experience about going to a new middle school for the first time towards the end of the year? How did you deal with making new friends?

i just switched schools myself and the best thing to do is not be the quiet one. do not be something that you are not cuz that is really annoying. she will make friends. as for algebra have one of the other students help her or one of the upperclassmen. make sure she keeps in good contact with her friends from her old school cuz they really need to be there for her to support her through this time. cant think of anything else......but tell her it takes time. she cant just expect to jump into a groug pf friends

Tell your little sister not to worry. Tell your sister to join clubs after school or sports where she can make a lot of friends.

Making friends is easy. All you have to do is be yourself. Your sister will be making friends in no time.
