Yes...(I asked this same question!)... I was at a classical music hall...all of the audience were elderly people... then this big lady came out singing opera and it was really strange sounding... I couldn't hold my laugh and my belly started shaking like crazy from containing my laugh...you should have seen my face..it was embarrassing

I also have a story about the "burping lady" in line who goes to my supermarket.... You don't want her standing in back of you in line!!

it happens to me all the time! why else would i have such a crazy avatar?

this is a genetic trait. we are an eccentric family. we can't help seeing the things that are ridiculous in life that others just can't see.

i'll be in a class, listenening to the prof. he says something that i am meant to take seriously--it is important information for the class, and we'll get tested on it. but he says it in sort of an off-kilter way, or uses some pronunciation of a word that is not used up in the north--such as INsurance instead of inSURance. in its context, it is so damned funny that i'll bust out laughing. everyone around me stares at me, and when they do, it becomes even funnier! then the professor will look up to see why it's so quiet in the rotunda, but that one person is crackin' up.

then he may himself may start laughing, then it may catch on, until about 100 people are laughin' their butts off. worse, he stares up at me laughing uncontrollably, THEY continue to stare at me, and then i start to cry, it's so damned funny.

this is how my entire life is, has always been, and i hope always will be: they say laughter is the best medicine, so i say, just keep crackin' up, and forget it if THEY don't get it!

hehehe!

At my wedding, my maid of honor was a girl who spoke her mind. As we were moving toward the altar railing (Episcopal wedding) for the final prayers and blessings, she turned to me and said that the priest looked just like Obi Wan Kenobi. Well, of course he did which got me giggling. And because she was right there next to me laughing too, I couldn't stop. Thank goodness no one behind us could see us except maybe we looked like we were crying tears of joy. Got worse when we had to turn me aroung train and all to exit the church. She had to help me and we still weren't over the first giggle fit. Just as we got everything set and I was preparing my plastic smile, she says "that was a real cluster ****. Once again we both lost it. Its one of my fondest memories of my dear friend. RIP Kay Kay

Not exactly but I did once start laughing at basically nothing right in front of the girl I like in a very very silent lab when she was sitting right across from me. It wasn't just normal laughing either, it was manic laughter....

I got the giggles so bad when i was trying to order at a restaraunt once, that my friend had to try and order for me; i felt so stupid, but every time i looked at her, and tried to stop it, it just got worse!!!!

I felt even more embarrassed by the fact that people were looking at me and probably thought i was on drugs, or crazy, or both. Lucky my friend was there to save me.

Cheers.

yeah, it's awful, once when my dad was on a rampage and caught me hiding, I started to laugh, even though I knew I was about to get beat, and I knew it was going to make it all the worse, but I couldn't stop! Still don't know why...
