I have a few backless items and need to find a good backless bra as i cant possibly go without.
the best option seems to be the bra with clear straps but i wonder if this is maybe a bit naff? what does everyone else do?

I don't like the straps, clear or not everyone notices them and thinks you don't have the figure to wear a backless top or dress without a bra. The best way to go is those bras that just fix onto your breasts without anything except suction. They do the job and no-one knows you have a bra on, you can even wear them with a slit front, as long as it is not built to show your breasts.

i don't think its naff. Try marks and spencers. I know they have a old fashion image but for under ware they are really great. take the backless items with you and ask one of the fitting room assistants to help, they will know which ones are the best. Good luck

Think the clear straps look awful !,dont ruin your great outfit. a good quality strapless bra does the job very nicely, found the stick on jobs can become unstuck when your skin gets warm and a bit sweaty.

Please do not get the bra woth clear straps. They really look crap as they are so obvious and scream ''Im trying to hide the fact I am wearing a bra'' Department stores like John Lewis have great 6 way bras-try it!!

on my wedding day i had a very low cut at the back of my dress, i went in a lingerie shop and they suggested using extra straps, i don't know what they are called but they hook into your hooks as if you were fastening your bra, but they pull the back strap down, i wrapped it around my tummy, its hard to explain but next time your in a lingerie shop, ask if they have anything like that

they have a convertible bra that you can wear them with strapless, backless, and halter tops, i myseft sometimes wear a body shaper (choose to low back one) from victoriasecret with my backless shirt

get the stick on ones that just support your front you can get them on ebay
