side effect. i heard it cause cancer if you take it alone without mixing
it with B-complex

No, by itself esterified vitamin C isn't going to cause cancer. You may have to watch "bowel tolerance" as with any vitamin C product. Some people feel bloated and gassy or have loose stools on high doses of C. But you can avoid that if you gradually increase the dose little by little over the course of several weeks.

Linus Pauling, PhD, who championed vitamin C several decades ago, took up to 10,000 mg per day. He took an ascorbic acid powder in divided doses through out the day.

I have taken the Ester-C in the past. I actually prefer it because it does not cause stomach problems or digestive that regular vitamin C does.Ester C also enters the bloodstream and tissues four times faster than regular Vitamin C.

There are no negative side effects when taking Ester C. It is such a great vitamin to take. It helps with your immune system and acts as a powerful anti-oxident and free radical scavenger
