I set up an Roaming Profile, on the same pc as the Local PRofile, and it came up an error message.

Windows did not load your roaming profile and is attempting to log you on with your local profile. Changes to the profile will not be copied to the server when you logoff. Windows did not load your profile because a server copy of the profile folder already exists that does not have the correct security. Either the current user or the Administrator's group must be the owner of the folder. Contact your network administrator.

What happened?

Is it that I have to use a networked pc, because I set the Roaming Profile on the smae pc that where is the Local PRofile?

Please help.

The idea of a roaming profile is that the profile is housed on a server so that you can "roam" to any computer that is on that network, sign in and have the exact same desktop and program access everywhere. If it is not networked then you do not need a roaming profile (and, as you found out, it won't work).
