Ive gotten so used to this guy as the face of the steelers defence, he was a leader and a downright animal on the field, if not a great player then the steelers lost a huge part of their intimidation factor. Where do you think he'll end up?

They could be looking to upgrade the linebacker position or maybe they are just tired of his mouth. Either way I hope he goes to the NFC that way my Ravens will hardly have to deal with him.

I don't know, the only thing I can think of is he's a cap casualty (which is what the sports websites are saying). He was unquestionably the leader of that defense so it's mind-boggling to me, and I'm not even really a fan of the team. All I know is I'm hoping he goes to the GIANTS!! That'll make up for cutting LaVar Arrington!!

BIG MISTAKE!!! i'm sure they are looking to switch to the 4-3 tampa two combo and get rid of the 3-4 that porter fits so nicely.(and save M-O-N-E-Y) but joey was the face of this defense! who's next? I really thought we could still look @ going back to the super-bowl but it looks as if were "rebuilding" this really stinks!
I'll Miss DA BOOT!!!

To save money and hopefully resign him later for less. That's what the Raven's hope to do by waiving Jamal Lewis because not everyone is willing to restructure their contract for the sake of the team like Peyton Manning.
