Bush and company, and growing statism into the daily lives of Americans. Vote for less goverment nowdays because goverment plays favorites instead of protecting people from harming each other. The goverment in the next 5 years gonna grow gangbusters or a politcan gonna make deep cuts to goverment spending, and programs just to keep the books balance. They already raised the social security tax 56 times since 1956, I belive federal govement go too much power over the people.

They are a contradiction in terms. Conservatism is about a small central government, only taxing for the essentials and being strict constitutionlists. Big government is everything conservatism stands for.
