When I call large companies they always ask for your name and your zip code so they can verify your the correct caller. I own a business and I want this for my phone system. What software are they using to check your identity (it must have everyones information in it that lives this theic country. Thanks.

I am guessing that when you signed up for whatever service it was with the large corporation, you had to give them your home address.

All they do, is just verify that your name matches the zipcode on your home address/whatever address you've provided them

There is no repository or software or database that has everyone's information on it, that's in violation of privacy laws. A company cannot collect someone's information (such as their address) without their consent.
