Nearly everyone I know has screwed up their life. I haven't. What does this make me?

Happiness and success are always relative terms. The conception of these terms vary from person to person and time to time. One sets his target of particular success and when achieved sets another one and tries to get that. It is a continuous process. It goes on and on till our end. It is human nature so if we say that we have achieved the success we are be fooling others. However happiness is concerned to the state of our satisfaction level whether physical or mental. One can be happy in whatever stage he is and there is nothing wrong in that.

Abnormal, noway! You have only accomplished what many have not been able to do. Thats all. If everyone could be lucky enough to do this then what kind of world would we have? Besides success and happiness are measured differently in each person so some may be happy and successful according to their definition but not yours. Just as wealth is measured differently too. To some it means money and possessions and to others it means having a large circle of good friends willing to help at any notice. Hope this makes sense. Just enjoy your life because time can and has changed lifes in a blink of the eye, and you never know when. Now you may be abnormal if you did this and you were blind, deaf, born without hands, etc. Congrats on your success

Nope. i have had some undesirable pals too. One i replaced into "pals" with for 9 years (i'm purely 14 so it truly is fairly a lengthy time period!) yet then by using a authentic pal and the relax of highschool, I gently ditched her. no, u r certainly normal person...life gives u chances and u use them very well. That's all. Don't worry u are not the one who is happy and successful...also I'm successful and happy person too :) we are really lucky b/c as u know the circle makes people down so most of us unhappy, we are the ones who stay out that whole circle.

it makes you very smart. you are not alone. Just need to find friends more like you. I have 2 great children one in national honor society. I work for a dr part time and am a full time mother. Can do almost anything. including construction. putting a mud room on my house right now. very independent, an ambitious. Don't smoke drink or do drugs does that make me screwed up?

Whether it makes you abnormal or not, you have a good life, you should be happy (which I guess you are) and thankful.
It might also be a good idea to help get your buddies back on track

No way. If your happy and successful it doesn't ever mean your abnormal. It just means you are happy with life and things can get better,and better,and better.

In the Zen view of one's life as happy or at least wanting to be happy is a goal or goal attained. In comparing your life to others you tread a slippery slope. Not to be glib but be happy you are happy and SHARE your happiness with others and the returns will make you more solid and perhaps even happier. Nicely done.
