I listen to music while I write, and generally read a little bit before.

Get rid of all distractions.

Try and connect what I'm writing about currently to the point I intend to make later.

Keep things upbeat and easy to understand.

Take breaks often.

I tend to listen to music that inspires me or gives me energy.
