Abortion is killing a human being.

If murder is illegal, abortion should be illegal.

If women should be allowed to kill embryos, then all murder should be legal.

So yes, I am anti-murder (pro-life)

I am pro life, which some people consider anti "choice".
They say a women should have control over her body and society doesn't have a right to tell her what to do.

To me that argument is really too simplistic for the circumstances. If a women wants to do something to her body that doesn't effect other living beings, that's one thing, but obviously in this case there is another living being in her body, and that being has "rights" and "choices" too that should be respected.

The next argument people focus on is if this living being is developed enough to have any rights or protections. To me this is a stupid argument from the start because an embryo is a developing baby, regardless of it's stage of development. I mean, no one says it's ok to kill an infant because it's an undeveloped human being. We all recognize that it's a human being, period.
Frankly you could argue that most adults have no memories of being an infant, so you could argue that if you kill an infant that it doesn't feel real pain since it's not fully conscious. But most people, even pro "choice" people, would be against that. They don't seem to recognize that the same logic applies to the embryo. A person is a person regardless of it's stage of development.

I do recognize that females feel like it's not fair as they are losing rights in the defense of the rights of the developing baby. To me this seems clearly a case in which two rights exists, (1) A mother that doesn't want to be obligated to give birth and (2) A baby that has a right to live.
In this case the greater right is clearly the right to life, considering there are other options (like adoption) should she not want to raise the child.
I do think society doesn't do enough to make adoption easy and stigma free though, and doesn't provide enough emotional support.

I am pro-life. I am pro-choice. Do what you feel and what you believe you can live with. If God were to return today and you took any of the stances, could you look Him in the eye and say that you still stand by your decisions?

I think both are extremes and I don't agree with neither.
I agree everybody deserves a chance to live, I am Christian and I believe the whole 'there is a purpose for every life'. I don't agree that it is HER body, it is God's. If she was woman enough to open her legs, she can be woman enough to change a diaper. It IS murder, if it came from HER body or NOT.

So what? Can a mother kill her son because he came out of her?? Where's the point when we can determine whether the child is a 'body part' or a human being. Mine personally is as soon as the sperm hits the egg.

However, there should be exceptions. If the mother or the child are in health-related danger or other types of emergencies, rape, things like that.

I'm pro-life for those who want to live, pro-choice for those who wish to die. I believe it's an individual decision.

As for abortions, I'm also pro-choice.

As to why, because it's my bloody body and I will treat it as I see fit. And everyone else deserves the same courtesy.

No, I am pro-choice. I don't really think it is the government's purpose to force a child onto any unwilling mother. I recognize that the fetus has to die in order for the woman to have her life back, and I think this is her decision to weigh, not anyone else's (other than the father's).

I used to be pro life but I changed my mind. Whatever happends to a girl/woman's body is her own choice. Actually nevermind, this is hard topic so i'm half and half? I don't want to disappoint anyone so I'm neutral.

You bet, I'm pro-life.

God is the giver and sustainer of all life. Man is a fool to mess with it. The consequences are severe!!!

I am pro-life because I am a Christian and the Bible says thou shall not kill. That is my stance against abortion. I am equally against the death penalty for the same reason. Why should you kill someone just because that person killed someone else? That is murder too, especially if the person is on trial and can't go anywhere.
