My baby is due this month and I experienced a very simlar pain with the pregnancy - it was very painful (NOTHING could touch my belly button or near it!) but my doctor reassured me that it was only my body stretching and growing, it can be very painful plus some women experience what is called round ligament pains early in pregnancy (more caused by growing :-]) these pains can be very painful as well and are generally cause by moving around, mine got so intense at times that i couldn't move anymore or had to sit down - I had to learn the difference between them and contractions - lol - best thing to do, just to make sure, is give your doctor/midwife a call and describe it to them, that way you'll know for sure, even if it is not serious. Good Luck!!

Anything this painful during pregnancy should be a red flag - call your doctor, and/or go immediately to the emergency room.
Good Luck.

My girlfriend had that, the doc said it was growing pains. It hurt for about a week and is exactly what you are describing. I am sure you are OK, but I would make sure you tell the doc just to be on the safe side.

I would suggest going to the doctor because you'll get pains, but they should go away and not be that painful. Good luck.

Call your doctor or go to emergency right away you could have an etopic pregnancy where the baby is forming in your tubes instead of out.
You could hemmorage if you don't get this checked right away.
