that i dont knowe , however the most compact one : ( energy/mass of eletricity plant ) is nuclear next natural gas

least hydro electric ( if counting the waterlake also ) and coal.

I'm not clear on the question. Which has the most potential or which do we actually use the most of today?

Currently here in the US we get the majority of our eledtricty from coal fired powerplants. However I think Frances uses 70% nuclear plants or something like that.
