In a few years I will be eligible for social security from my deceased husbands estate.
There is however, an error on our marriage license that I just noticed
with regard to the number of marriages I have had.

I am a bit worried about this typographical error and I will point it out
when I apply. Anyone had a problem like this and got it straightened out?

I wouldn't point it out, because that is something so minor it shouldn't matter. My parents ages aren't correct, but they have been married for over 67 years. Typos happen.

It probably is of no importance - but always tell the truth.

There is a limit to how much in benefits that can be paid based on a single person's employment record - but here you are looking for benefits based on your husband's earnings- - and you are apparently not worried about extra wives showing up and claiming a share of his benefits.
