Because most people know what sign they're born under...So it's a good why to start a conversation with someone you don't know. Or the person might think that it is important because according to astrology some signs aren't all that compatible.

Entertainment or there really bored (ME!!) but its just for enertainment . Its no to be used as a life plan like " My horoscope said i have to dress up like a chicken or ill die ," and then they go walkin around in a chicken suit ( or something like that) then is too much.

There are certain things that just are,the full moon brings more deaths and more births.Crabs in the ocean have more meat during full moon.People born at certain times have certain characteristics.Besides it's fun.
Maybe we just are what we are.
