No, the Bush tax cuts did not only help the richest 1%. Where did you come up with this? My husband and I have benefitted greatly from the tax cuts and I can assure you that we are FAR from rich.

If you're asking for my opinion, I don't have one.

I think we should have zero income taxes and smaller government. Probably not the answer you expected, I'm sure.

I also agree with lebowski, any tax cut is good, period. I'd like to think I'm better at deciding where to spend what I earn than the government is.

Somehow, our country managed to survive before income taxes.

Im not moltar but its quite obvious taht if you cut the former 15% income tax category to 12%, and we know that that income segment is lower middle class income, then it helps just about everyone.

Of course not everyone that pays federal income tax got a tax break therefore all working Americans were helped by the enlightened tax policies of Bush
