You'll encounter LOTs of hispanics, probably loud music.
It's celebrated like a wedding, but instead of celebrating a marriage, they are celebrating their 15 year-old daughter.

If the family in question is Mexican, you will find a biiiig party. The girl will be dressed in an elaborate ballgown, and yes, you have to participate in the dance. Dancing is an important part of the celebration, there might even be a coreography prepared. You have to wear a suit or formal clothes. Talk to the quinceañera, she will give you all the details. well u need to prepare with some cash for the tux, n well like others here said, u will probably have to memorize around 3-4 dance routines, dancing different waltz's its pretty fun, i planned my own a couple of years back n im helping my cousin with hers next year, n yea, there will probably be REALLY loud music all niite... have fun!!!
