It's still up in the air. Let's hope it doesn't go to committee.

The bible states that the time he is coming is known only to God and not to Jesus or anyone else.

The "somebody" you know is called a False Prophet in the bible.

For the time of His coming, read Mathew 24:3 forward, and especially 25:13 "Watch, therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

Hi! I am a pastor's daughter, so I no more than my fair share about this! Jesus is indeed coming but say He will come "in the hour that you think not". The Bible specifically says that NO ONE knows when He is coming back. The Bible does tell of things that will come before he does, as in signs. It says there will a rise in natural disasters, and lots of wars and rumors of wars, as well as the world "waxing worse and worse" (basically just getting more evil. Because of all of the political trouble these days, and the large amounts of natural disasters, lots of people believe He is coming soon. No one knows for sure, though. Hope this helps!

It is believed to be soon because there are signs of His second coming, but nobody knows the exact time (Matthew 24:36-44).

A good site to check out to find out more about this is:

If you aren't a believer in Christ and are concerned about your salvation then you should research this and think about it. If you do believe that God exists and that Christ could come soon and you aren't ready if He were to, then you do need to accept Christ as your savior.

We don't know when he's coming. Just that he is. There are lots of people that have developed ideas over the centuries, but they were all wrong. Though, there wouldn't really be any reason to be good if you could just go make things right the night before.

You might want to post this in the religious section or section most appropiate to your question.

& to answer it, no one knows.

Why would Jesus want to come back? We killed him the first time he came. I would visit Europa or Mars before coming back to this hell we call Earth.........
