I've always heard that if you get your eights hours of sleep you will wake up refreshed, energized, and ready to go. But that's not the case with me. What's wrong? What should I do? Any advice?

Are you depressed at all? I'm still groggy when I get up if I get eight hours. Does it last all day? Start exercising when you get up, it that doesn't help you should go to the doctor and get some blood work done. You could be anemic.

Same problem with me. Eight hours of sleep and I was still tired. Go to sleep for nine hours or take two one hour naps during the day to feel refreshed. It works.
