There are basic needs to human beings that are beyond their sex, but the way they try to satisfy them differs drastically from person to person and the role of gender is indispensable. Men find it indefinable to talk about certain things that they feel and prefer to think about them quietly, women on the other hand tend to be more talkative due to the fact that they can analyze and finally make out what they need and do something about it when they talk, so it's not talking itself that is desirable but that a conversation could help them get into their problems and solve it. Let's put it this way: Men think silently, women voicefully.

I think it depends. If men have a gathering together they can chat just as much as a group of women. I think though women may tend to speak more at home as they tends to have to do so to get things done or control the environment overall.

Waiting for my friend to go around the pubs is like waiting forever - he! yeah so I think that its men that can talk the hind legs of the donkey.

M E N !!! without a doubt! Having worked most of my life in the Car industry, I have observed and had this confirmed time after time. However there is a great deal of difference about WHAT the two gender actually TALK about.

Here in our place, women are more talkative than men. Under ordinary circumstances, that is. However, when they are drunk, men become the more talkative ones. Why?(Because women go to sleep). You can only hear their snores. Joke!

that is easy it has got to me women . men like to go straight to the point unless they are afraid of how the women will react and then they try to say as little as poss so as not to get in trouble and when men are together they don't seem to chat and gossip as much as women
