Well....you are not going to be able to survive with the interest from £15k as your only income...so I am afraid u would still need to work..
But to make the most of your money I suggest you use your ISA allowance (which is £7000 every year) and then open a Bond with the remaining 8k....

I just put my investment into a high interest locked bank bond.
15 grand is a good starting point but no where near a retirement amount.

15 grand won't make you that much. The markets are down right now, it might actually be a good time to get in. Look into International Equity funds.

shares..but not at the moment the market is like a coaster, i would put it into any business ideas you may of had as a young man/woman. Use it to develop your idea and then aproach a business man/woman to invest into yourcompany/idea.

Buy something that you can sell on again.....perhaps on e-bay? I would buy more horses for my business, and sell them on......this is hard work.....nothing comes easy or for free.......whatever you decide to do, put lots and lots of effort into it.
