Unless you attend with someone who knows how to appreciate a film and keep quiet ( and that includes not crunching popcorn too loudly) going alone can enhance the cinematic experience. Some movies need to be seen without distraction while others need to be experienced with a kindred spirit......it all depends on the experience you seek. But yes,it is OK and not abnormal.

Yes, its normal. Personally I like to watch movies alone, and its even better when the theater is almost empty.

no, its not weird at all. there are many people who enjoy going to the theatre and watching movies alone. people have different hobbies, and like to different things on their own/alone time. you obviously enjoy movies which is normal. i happen to really enjoy movies, and was interested in being a critic for a while.

It's not weird. It would make it easier to focus on the movie. I used to do it all the time in college! Now I'm married with kids so I don't have time to see movies in the theater.

I rather watch movies alone even in the theater. I like it even better when I'm the only person in the theater!

It is to me. My friends and family do not share my taste so I'm off on my own most of the time.
Also, I hate going with someone who is always talking or asking questions. It's nice to go and just enjoy.
