How much does it cost to get a firearms possession acquisition license?

I am applying for a few jobs that require me to get FPAC

Not sure what that is - but in Missouri it cost 25.00 and a background check to get a concealed-carry permit for my S&W 38 police special.

I went to the sherriff's office, filled out a form, and waiting period.

Concealed - carry means I don't need to have it in the open. It's in a red leather holster in the waistband in the back of my skirt.
