I reccomend going to a cosmetic store and asking for a makeover. Tell the makeup artist what kind of look you prefer (whether it be a natural look, a dramatic look etc...) and she will be able to help you...good luck ;)

makeup should enhance your features, not out do them... use a light hand when applying make up... and as far as eyeliner, use a dark brown or a color that compliments... black looks whorish... especially if you have too much on... if you do use black, remember to blend and use just a little bit... your probably one of those pretty girls who doesn't need ANY makeup! but hey we all wear it, just remember your face is an artists palett, not a page out of the sunday comics! good luck!

put your makeup on in a very well lit area. if you have a vanity, make sure you have WHITE lights. apply your makeup sparingly. if you notice you are going through eyeliners like they are going out of style, you are wearing too much.
if you put your makeup on in a well lit area this will stop you from applying extra because you can see clearly everywhere you have put it on.
pretty much, use your own judgement. go easy on the black eyeliner and mascara and you should be ok.

I recommend blending your makeup with your fingers and using natural colors such as browns and clear (mascara and lip gloss).
I think that with makeup it is better to have not enough than too much and look like a doll.

When ones eyes look like they have a black eye is when they know that they have too much eyeliner :P

use your own judgnent, if u can tell ur wearing anything more than eye makeup then its probably to much *my rule of thumb*

hun, you look at yourself in the mirror... if you like what you see, you are good... its your opinion what counts, not everyone else... plus you will be soo confident of yourself you wont care... its IMPOSSIBLE to please everyone around you and its important to please yourself, not the would around you... best wishes!
