No question about it - JOHNNY DEPP!!!
He can play ANYTHING and be GREAT at it!!! Could you imagine Tom Hanks trying to play Jack Sparrow? or anything else that Johnny has played? At least Johnny LOOKS good too!! Tom Hanks is repulsive to look upon!!! savvy?

I'd have to say Depp, mainly because he picks the more challenging indie film rolls. Tom Hanks only seems to go big (no pun intended) these days and those hollywood hits are already guaranteed lots of dough. No need to try to become better at your skill...

Johnny Depp for sure, Tom Hanks is only good on playing to be a good actor but the fact is that he isn't even close to good. I think Tom Hanks sucks.
