When my older son was only 3 years old he talked about another life he lived. He said was a big boy and his little brother was his big brother& they were both big, and his brother died in a fire and he tried to save him but he couldn't save him . But now they were brothers again. He then said I wasn't his Mommy then. This shocked me.(scared me to be truthful) He had a speach problem because he is very hard of hearing. He spoke very plainly when he talked about this other life! That part also scared me. He had never heard of such things before.

Reincarnation is something I am extremely passionate about.

Your son is just one of millions of children who remember a past life. Despite the comments of #1, many people have investigated details they remembered of a past life and found that it was as they remembered it, or found their own grave or where they lived. This happens to children in the Far East often. A child will remember another life many times and when taken to the village they remember, recognize their families. The point is that in many countries such memories are valid and accepted. They are not encouraged; they are just accepted as what is. Buddhism and Hinduism both embrace reincarnation as a core belief and central tenet to the religion. But you do not have to follow these religions to remember.

I have been involved in the study and research of reincarnation for almost 40 years on a personal level and know a little bit about it. I remember details of at least 6 lives myself. In three of them I had the same beloved companion, and in the other three I have met people with whom I have shared a life. Sometimes when you meet a person to whom you feel immediately comfortable or cannot stand, realize that your consciousness may not remember but the soul does. Listen to your immediate instinct in these cases because chances are, the other soul recognizes you. It might just be a person in an elevator; it may be a business partner or a beloved mate. To make things even more confusing, people often tend to reincarnate in groups together. Sometimes they meet and sometimes they do not. Even nations reincarnate together. For example, in the last century, there was a great upsurge of Atlanteans which explains more than a few mysteries.

I have resonated deeply with ancient Egypt since I was a child. I dreamed of it, studied it, and “knew" it. I was obsessed by the art and the culture. I met a gentleman when I was 52; we recognized each other instantly. It truly was love at first sight and then we both began remembering our life together in very very ancient Egypt. It was a life of purity and bliss and utter happiness that I can still pull up when I am blue. During our very short time together I remembered another life when we were together. I remember just a few visions but that bliss carried same heart resonance of Egypt and what we shared in this life. Sadly he was taken from me within three months of our finding each other. I will never remove his wedding ring! Before he passed, for he was a very advanced old soul, he promised me that we would meet again and once again, it would be “love at first sight” and hopefully we would have more time. He described our few short months as, “opportunity to touch base in our waltz through time.”

A few months later, I was with his sister, a gifted psychic like he was. She slipped out of her body and his voice began to speak through her. When she used his private name for me, I knew it was him. He told me where he lived now, about his new parents, his new name and joked, “People do not know what newborns are capable of doing.” His words were true. I know with whom he lives and the names of his 4 siblings. I knew his father personally. He is again a brilliant scholar although he is only 7 now. He even kept the same colouring, butter blonde with tanned skin and sky blue eyes! I was told a few weeks ago he looked at a picture of himself when he was the man I knew, and solemnly stated that someday he would grow up to look just like that man. By the way, his new parents christened him and gave him his old first name as his middle name. A few weeks later he told them he wanted to be called by that name again.

Does this sound weird? Of course it does. It flies in the face of all we know in the West. But, these things DO happen! I would never identify myself to when I meet him, as I will, for he lives with close friends far away from me. That would be meddling. But it will be interesting to see if he recognizes something in the old lady who wears a ring that might look vaguely familiar. A few weeks ago, I dreamt of him for days, the 8th anniversary of his passing. It was as if we had never been apart. Such is the power of love.

Often souls who have a powerful bond reincarnate together as did your two sons. They might reincarnate as twins, siblings, parent/child, and relatives. The bond of spirit need not be that of lovers. It is not unusual for a child to be as yours is, having a slight challenge in life which disappears when they “remember”. I do not know why this is. I cannot verify this one but I believe that when souls are contemplating rebirth, they choose parents from whom they will be shaped to learn the lessons they want to learn. For example, did you know, souls clamor for the opportunity to be born into bodies with challenges? Such lives are over flowing with opportunities to strive and advance on their upward path. Some want such lives to develop various spiritual strengths.

I know I have gone on about my beloved, but I wanted to give you an example of reincarnation of souls reborn to share parts of a life. Don’t let people tell you you are imaging things. The best thing you can do is encourage your son’s memories, accept them. Don’t brush them off, just act as if this is a natural thing. What happens is our society kills off so much that children bring back with them. Some who have vision and draw auras they see as normal around a person get told they are imagining it and they are just “halos” like the saints had. What are halos anyhow if not auras of light? The same goes for remembering the past. Your son is here to teach you that such things exist. Nothing is accidental.

Might I add, that it is VERY dangerous to meddle in past lives. You can open up cans of worms you never thought possible. This is why I stopped exploring mine, I got in too deep. There is a very good reason why we forget what goes from life to life. Remembering all the evils we did can be too much for us. Also, we are here to learn from the current existence and the challenges we set. We upset the balance when we meddle so. However, for some, it just happens, as with your son.
You are a fortunate woman.

I believe it fully. This friend of mine, her grandson was telling her one time about his grandpa and how they would fly in a plane together. Thing is his grandfather died years ago( he was a WW2 Vet and he in fact flew planes in the war) he was very young and never had known or seen his grandpa. So one day she took out a photo album with the picture of the grandfather and he pointed him out and said that was grandpa. They never told him that, or showed him a picture before.

I think some people when they die, have a connection with loved ones or friends that is strong enough to suggest there is life elsewhere. I believe there is an afterlife, the universe is too vast for life just to end at one lifetime.

Wow, that's really amazing! I can understand why you'd be freaked. I think anyone would be.

I've heard of two types of reincarnation. There's the purely Eastern idea that you can return as nearly any living thing, and there's the more Western thought (New Age) that seems to only communicate the idea of coming back as humans. I had one friend that kind of combined the New Age philosophy with Christian ideas. She believed we kept returning to live new lives until we came to know God. That's kind of a cool thought, though unorthodox.

That experience with your son is truly extraordinary.
