How Did My Dad's Company Connect to His Phone Without His Knowledge??

OK, the company has never liked my father etc so they need a reason to boot him... well a couple min ago my dads phone called me and I could hear him in the background talking about the dumb things the company does etc... and i yelled in my phone hoping my dad would pick up... but he must of been a ways away (construction) so can companys connect to your phone without you knowing and listen to your work conversations>?? (motorolla walkie talkie)

No. Your dad probably didn't have his phone locked, pushed up against something that triggered it to call and didn't know someone was connected. It has happened to me a few times when I forgot to lock the keypad.
