problems keeping my room clean?

i need some tips for keeping my room clean. my mom gets so mad at me some times.

put your clothes away the second you get them from the laundry. Put clothes in you hamper,make your bed but sleep in it and carefully try to remake it.

Most messy rooms happen because there aren't enough places to put things. If drawers are crowded, who's going to want to fold a sweater and put it away? First you want to get rid of everything you're not using. Then look around to see what kind of stuff is lying around. Magazines? You need a box or bin for those. Dirty clothes, how about a hamper in your own room instead of using the one in the bathroom. Clean clothes, maybe some hooks inside the closet door or a coat stand. Shelves with dividers are easier than drawers for a lot of clothes. Once a week, put on some music and give yourself 4 minutes to put clothes on hangers. For makeup, you need nome boxes with lids so you can toss things in and hide them.

Ok, making the bed. You hate it, right? Try pulling the sheets and blankets straight just before you get out of bed. Then all you have to do is fold down the top and tuck in one side. If your mom doesn't like it, point out how much better it is than not making the bed at all.

And you need enough trash can space. One little wastebasket isn't useful for anybody.

Well you could try this, Set your alarm clock for 15 min´s see how much you can do in this amount of time, you´ll be surprised just how much you can do So here we go , all dirty clothes left in a pile next to the door. clean clothes to the closet , jumper´s folded, jeans hang them up belts, scarf´s hats all in the right place, shoes in there right home´s STOP. If you think you have done enough for the day then stop if you feel you´d like to carry on then do so, a good thing to remember is never leave the room whilst you work take things that don´t belong in your room back to there rightful homes when you finish what you are doing. You know my mum used to tell me so many times to clean my room,and one day I asked could a friend come to stay the weekend, yes she said if your room is clean , well I went out the night before my friend was to stay , woke up late the next morning to go to school , Running out the door saying to my mum. OH PLEASE mum clean my room just this once, She cleaned it good, she throw everything out the window, apart from the bedroom furniture, and it was lying in the street waiting for me coming home, I did´t no where to hide I wished there had been a hole I could jump in. So your mum´s only shouting, best not give her any ideas EH !

I have the same problem. my mom gave me these tips:
1: once you take something out, put it back
2: at the end of the day, look at your bedroom floor and ask your self if anything is out of place.
3: in the morning, make your bed and again see if anything is out of place.
i dont do well keeping my room clean, so lets see if these tips help you any!!!

One word= boxes. Get them in whatever sizes you can manage, clear plastic ones are best I have found. You can get them at target or wal mart or anywhere really. Get many different sizes or do a bit of measuring and get the ones that fit best in your closet and under the bed = great hidden storage space. Also get a closet organizer if you can swing it.

Boxes are good - but dont get cardboard, get cute containers from Walmart or Target or Kmart. Also, get shelving in your closets and make really good use of them.

Go thru your stuff and start getting rid of things that you havent used in the last year. Give to friends, family, Salvation Army..!!
