No he is not the little brother from the Jackson 5. He is mainly a producer and has been in the industry for quite some time. If I am not mistaken - I believe he used to play guitar or bass for a group called Snap. He also played with an 80's Band called Journey and many others.

No he's not Randy Jackson from the Jacksons. He played Bass with the group Journey. He performed and toured with Mariah, Witney, Celine, Madonna, Elton John, Destiny's Child. He help 200 albums go platiumn or gold

Randy is one of the older brothers of Micheal Jackson. Singer, producer and director of music for 30 years. No its not two different singers he is micheals brother. All you folks should look it up and you will micheal has a brother named Randy and it is the one on American Idol. look on the wikipedia and you will see his bio on top and it includes the Jackson 5.
