Hi,
What you need to do is base your decision on breaks.
Check out what your break entitlements are at both places.
Example for Sainsbury's:
Hours Worked.............Paid Break
After working for 4.5 hours but less than 6 hours.........15 Minute break.
Working between 6 and 8 hours..........20 min break in accordance with Working Time Regulations of which 15 minutes is paid.
Working between 8 and 9 hours...........either (a) 30 minute break to be taken morning or afternoon or (b) 15 minute break to be taken morning and afternoon.
Check them out carefully. Remember that in Sainsbury's you will get a staff discount card after a qualifying period.
You can't eat paint and drills.

I think you would probably learn more in B & Q, so you can advise customers on drills, tiles, paint, electrics etc
In Sainsbury's people pretty much know what they want to buy so your only interaction would be showing some one where the baked beans are!

I don't know about B&Q, but I used to know somebody who worked at Sainsbury's, and they seemed happier with their job then other people in other shops.
