I haven't, but I know people who have. One friends smoked all through her pregnancy, just as much as she did when she wasn't pregnant. I can see no effect on her baby, who was born at an average birth weight and is developing normally for her age, even doing some things early. But I do know that on the days she had her blood pressure taken without smoking first, it was much higher than the times she did smoke, so she could have been putting herself and her baby at risk from the doctor not being able to correctly diagnose preeclampsia.

And another girl I know smoked a little bit, but it made her nauseous, so she cut waaaay back (but didn't stop). Her baby was fine at birth, too, but I haven't seen her in a while, so I don't know if there were any development issues.

There haven't really been any studies on this, but it's been proven that cigarrette smoke causes all sorts of harm because it does cross the placenta, and it's highly likely that the pot smoke would cross it, too. I personally think that it wouldn't be worth the risk.

I did. I lost a baby when I was only 4 and a half months pregant. I had quit smoking ciggarettes, pot and drinking. The baby died.
So when I fell pregnant again I didnt stop smoking ciggarettes. I did stop drinking though. I did smoke very small amounts of pot due to my morning sickness. I wasnt even able to keep a glass of water down. Having a small cone enabled me to eat without throwing up. I was very worried about this, but my room mate who was nurse said it was fine because some Dr's prescribe pot to pregant women to protect the babies from certain illnesses. This didnt relieve my guilt and I stopped as soon as my morning sickness ended. An dI hadnt smoked that much, just like half a cone every few days so I did actually get some nutrition.
My daughter turned out perfectly healthy and super smart. No problems at all. My second daughter I didnt smoke pot with and she ended up with cysts on her kidneys, go figure that out.
I dont suggest smoking whilst pregnant, but if you do then keep it to really small amounts and only on occasion not all day everyday.

I personally haven't but know a few people that have. One smoked throughout all three of her pregnancies and one of them has no nerves in one of her eye lids. Whether that is a cause for smoking that I don't know. You should really consider quitting although it isn't as harmful as cigarette smoke its actually preferred to than cigarette smoke there are still a lot of dangers that could be caused by smoking cannabis. I would imagine its the same affects of cigarette smoke. Cigarette smoke is worse because of all the added chemicals that are in them but I think its the same thing. Its best to quit now.

I haven't

The effects on the baby is a preference towards mom singing Pink Floyd and Grateful Dead music to them in utero, only moving inside the womb to reggae drum beats and the munchies

before i got pregnent i smoked pot everyday, i thought it calmed be down after work and stuff, but when i got pregnant it made me feel sick, thats how i found out i was pregnant (i had my period the first 3 mo. so i didnt find out by missing my period) anyways i quit altogether well the pot atleast i use to smoke a pack of cigarettes a day and my doctor actuly told me i could not quit that cold turkey while i was pregnant and she help me quit in a one mo. i (i have not smoked cig. since) but i live in southeast texas and i was 5 1/2 mo. pregnant when hurricane rita was coming, after seeing what katrina did and being so close to us scared the living crap out of me! i didnt know what i was going to do we were forced to leave and stuck on the highway for 36hrs on what is normaly a 3 hr drive!! so i rode in th truck with my dad and crying the whole time because i was thirsty but couldnt drink because we couldnt spare the time to get off the highway so i could use the restroom (when i would need to) we were at a dead stop almost the entire way then after 10 hours to houston (a 30 min dr) my father wanted to pull over because he was scared his truck would not make it if he didnt let it rest (idoling behind cars for a long amount of time is bad) alot of people had broke down bcause of it. people were dying children were hungry and HOT it was a real nightmare!! when he stop i started freaking out even more the math wasnt adding up the speed we were going and the distance didnt match the time we had to get there, i started feeling very sharp pains in my stomach and it felt like contactions. (my mother smoked pot when she was pregnant with all her kids) so my father smoked a joint with me and i fell asleep i do believe i would have miscarried. im not saying smoking pot is ok when your pregnant, i belive a woman has the choice but the child doesnt. but in my case i choose to smoke. But i had never seen anything like that in my life and the images of "what could of happen" is unthinkable

there were over 1 million people who fled from hurricane rita and a quite a few died trying to evacuate, and lots of woman miscarried i would never wish anything like what happpen from katrina or rita on anyone! woman were also raped in shelters from katrina and rita

I really can't see a point in asking this question unless you are wondering if it is okay to do. If that is the case you should get some serious help if you consider your baby having the possibilites of mental retardation, poor organ and tissue development, and all sorts of other handicaps less important than you getting high. I hope social services is waiting when you enter the hospital.

I know a few people that have smoked cannibas while pregnant. If u have been smoking during ur pregnancy it is actually harmful to stop because the baby could go through withdrawls. If u haven't smoked at all during ur prognancy dont do it.
