I have no problem paying for movies for my ipod, but itunes has a pretty crappy selection. I also don't like the idea of registering on a site before actually being able to see their library first. Anyone know of a website where I can browse movies for free and then purchase the ones I select? Thanks.

There are few legal sites with iPod ready movies. The reason is that legal sites with "Hollywood" movies will be required to have DRM. And Apple has not released the DRM for the iPod.

So, you'll either need to figure out a way to convert (which can be very hard since you'd need to remove another company's DRM scheme) or watch free (public domain) movies.

Podtropolis is a good place to start... there's also tons of DVD to iPod video converters, plus mpg/avi to h264 converters so any other video you download you can convert to iPod format.
