I'm so surprised with all this answers I didn't know there was such a prejudice against people with tattoos. I and all my friends have at least one tattoo, we are all professionals working in the corporate world and making over 6 figures. I don't think that having a tattoo effect your brain and make you stupid, is just some body decoration. We are all men I have to say so I don't know if it is different for women.

It's rediculous to think that "only dumb & immature people" get tattoos. I am a grown woman, a successful Realtor & I have two tatoos. It didn't bring my IQ down any. I like the way they look on my body - I don't see anything that would negate me as a smart, grown up because of that.

Getting a tattoo doesn't mean your stupid. Why do other people even care? It's not like its your body. I say they have to live with it. My father is talking about getting another tattoo and he isn't a high school or college student and he isn't stupid either.

NO! Intelligent & mature people knows better. As the old saying goes, "The older, the wiser." Tattoo's are for the people who wants God to see the "Mark of the Beast." Your body can't be a temple for God if its DEFILED on the Inside or on the outside. If any one of you that has a tattoo and reads my answer, and if it makes you upset and angry; don't take it out on ME. Go to God with your anger, don't settle it with me.

Nope. Just the teenagers/college students who wanna try something new.
Little do they know, a tattoo is not something you can simply get rid of when you're tired of it, which is why I'm never getting one.
They look really stupid on girls who get the ones on their waists, especially after they get pregnant and it stretches out and looks like an elephant.

For the most part no. Of course there are exceptions to that rule but for the most part the people who get tatts are convicts, wanna be convicts, people who can't be employed by any reputable employer and people who are low income and poor.
Really, no different from the old days. Somethings never change :-)
