I'm Indian, and trust me, I see tons of ladies everyday going to work in a simple saree or a fancy suit. You don't have to do the whole bangles, gold, and everything. Just the clothes. If you really want to wear ''American'' clothes, go to Macy's or a big department store, go the ladies section, and take a look at what the mannequins, or statues, or wearing. Try on the same clothes in your size...

Just look around at a place like where you'll work and dress like the women you see. You can pretty much wear whatever you want here. Even women working in offices don't wear dresses much anymore! Welcome to our country! and good luck!

depends on the job hun. add more details to say what kind of job you're thinking of going into. but at the end of the day, you should just wear what you want to. isnt america 'supposed' to be the land of the free...?
