My son currently uses one of those straws that has twist and turns in it. I think they called it a "crazy straw"....anyhow, he uses it as part of his speech therapy.
Also, my daughter uses one. They seem pretty sturdy and I was just wondering how to clean them. Or do I just throw them away?

step 1: vinegar and baking soda soak.
step 2: lemon juice soak.
step 3: warm water soak.
step 4: use a hairdryer to get all the liquid out asap.

my mom used to do that every 2 or 3 washes but mainly just the dishwasher with a rinse soak after.

have fun with the straws!

I would buy a bunch of them, but if that cost is too much, just soak it in bleach water and wash. Bleach won't hurt anything, after all it's in our drinking water. Just be sure to rinse the straws well.

I would soak them in hot water with baking soda to clean them and then redo it again
