Mercola is a quack and saw palmetto and other herbs will do jack squat. You have two options, either take some meds. that truly will deal with an enlarged prostate, this would be my first choice, or surgery to ream it out. Oh one more thing about surgery, there is the chance you will become impotent or incontinent. Go see a urologist to be sure you do not have prostate cancer. If you do I am sure you will be on this forum looking for herbs to cure cancer. good luck.

The folk lore remedy is pumpkin seeds. Pumpkin seed and a product called Pygeum are suppose to help. But as usual there are NO published human clinical trials to support that idea.

If you suspect BPH, you should see a doctor. There are all kinds of things that act like BPH and some can be pretty serious if left untreated.
