I've been asked to sell products by someone I don't know who I met over ebay, how do I know he's legit?

But what if he says that He sends the products first then I'll send payment?
but I need to send it to his bank account.

Check their feedback from any previous transactions they have made. If they have plenty of positive feedback, that is a good indication they are honest and trustworthy. If they have limited or high percentage of negative feedback.... be on your guard.

gona-b-a-...

this is a BIG FAT SCAM!

run like the wind away from this.

you will sell HIS products to your bidders (the products don't exist BTW)

then your supplier will tell you that the item has been shipped.

he'll even be so kind as to send you a FAKE shipping invoice.

then he will send you an invoice telling you to send the money to him.

then your customer tells you they never got the item.

then YOU are responsible and YOU must repay your customer.

YOU are now SCREWED!

common SCAM!

DON'T do this!

Basically you don't. The only thing you can check is their e-bay reputation. If they have a huge amount of feedback they are probably legit. Check out their rating on e-bay. Are they just looking for your bank account details to scam you for money. Be careful out there!

why are you thinking of selling things for someone else instead of selling things for yourself and making the profit

Personally I wouldn't do it. He could be offering you stolen goods or anything dodgy.

if anyone askes you to sell something for them, ask why they can't do it themselves.
If they are dead, go for it, if not, best to leave it alone eh?
