would you choose to be? would you have aaltered the course of events? would have you disaggreed with the distruction of the ring? done your own thing? gave frodo a smack? took the ring off him? picked a fight with gandalf? attacked elrond with a sword? or just gone along with the events decided in the book? the destruction of the ring..the *** ring..cheers.( this question is meant to be about fun)

The most irritating character is clearly Tom Bombadil. He rambles on and on and continuously sings his stupid song.... he's senile if you ask me...
If I could be anyone in the book, it would be Elrond. After the War of the Ring ends you get to travel to the West and live forever in an earthly paradise. Failing him, maybe Legolas as he gets all the advantages of being an Elf.
Course of events - the Ring had to be destroyed but I would have had Legolas go to Mount Doom with Frodo, as well as Sam.

Denethor (from the movie)irritated me a lot. . "Rule of Gondor is mine, and no other's", The fool
I didn't want Boromir to die. Perhaps, if he lived, the battles would have been much more interesting.
I would like to be Saruman. He has such a believable evilish kind of a voice. Gandalf, too would be good.

i would be an elf n kill frodo cos i hate him, nick the ring, wear it, go invisible for the day, kill those shadow people and swear at gandalf cos hes sooooo annoying and i would poke sauramon in the eye and pour gravy down sam gangees pants and give bilbo a good kick up the ****!!! but i would push aragon off a cliff do a jackie chan on the dwarf and kiss legolas cos hes gorgeous!! haha beat that!!!!

I would like to be either the Witch king or maybe the Dark Lord , Sauron himself.

most annoying is Aragon - all that angst - please - just be the damn king. I would want to be one of the giant eagle - they were cool. As for changing the course of the book - hey I am a giant eagle. :)
