i just heard that we traded HB Tatum Bell, OT George Foster, and a possible 5th rd pick, for the detroit lions CB Dre Bly, what do u think of this trade (i think it was good) we are definetly going to need to get a HB now, but mike bell is still a great back, what do u think of us getting willis mcgahee? i heard that buffalo is willing to trade him or even let him test the free agency, this offseason hasnt been to good for us with the slaying of Darrent Williams and the sudden death of Damien Nash, RIP to both of you guys you will never be forgotten

We now have the best 1-2 punch at CB in the league. I don't care what he did last season. When you get a two time pro bowler you are going to get some picks. He will be great covering Reggie Wayne.

I think you guys got a pretty good DB in Bly. When he first arrived in Detroit his attitude was awesome, he talked all the right talk and acted passionate about turning the Lions around (got to admire him for that, too bad he didnt realize how badly the Lion management opposes building a winner). He made Pro Bowls as a Lion (that should tell you something, Lion players rarely make Pro Bowl appearances) and until he got tired of all the losing he was a poster boy for the team. People now will mention his attitude towards the end being bad and he badmouthed Harrington to the press but seriously he had every right to question the committment. He gave the Lions one and expected some committment in return and got nothing. Good Luck Dre', finally you get an opportunity with a team that actually cares about and is committed to winning.

A good trade for Denver. After losing Williams they needed another veteran CB. Foster was in the doghouse at the end of last year, no big loss but losing Tatum means they'll have to sign a FA back. Maybe Lewis or McGahee or maybe a trade up in the draft to grab Andrian Peterson. That would be a good deal for Denver.

I think Bly is overrated, but decent. It's a fair trade for both teams. But with the loss of Tatum and the death of Nash, you cannot rest your hopes on Mike alone. They need to pick up someone in the draft or FA. Maybe Jamal Lewis?
