interesting question. i am not sure what you mean by east coast. do you mean eastern conference? if you do, look at the defending NBA champ, the Miami Heat, from the eastern conference. In previous years it has been the Pistons, also from the Eastern Conference.
While the Western conference seems stronger this year than the east, anything can happen.
of course if you mean literally east coast, as in Knicks or other east coast cities, than i dont know how that would feel

East has better players but west has better all around teams so i dont know!
