I got my period a week early, which has never happened before since I started taking Ortho-TricyclenLo. Also, my period is really dark. Like, Black looking and its never been that way before.
Is something wrong with me??

It is common to get breakthrough bleeding with tri-phasic pills, if it's still happening or happens after three months on the pill, then it is often a sign that it is not strong enough and you need higher dose pills, or to switch to a monophasic pill. I had to try 5 different brands of pills for three or four months each until I found one (a monophasic pill) that didn't eventually give me breakthrough bleeding. I'd often be fine for the first three months and then it would start.
I hardly ever get bright red blood when I have a withdrawal bleed in my pills, it's almost always dark brown or black looking - it's normal, just older blood and tissue because your body doesn't make as much uterine lining or fill it with as much blood because it's not preparing from pregnancy.

We do not have all the information. Why did you start taking TricycleLo in the first place? What is going on in your life right now? Again, do not answer those questions to us in here. Call your Dr. and have a talk with her/him.

It could be something to do with the pill. But, just to be safe call your doctor and talk to her.
