I think "Risky Bussiness" or even "The outsiders".

Risky Business. Was his breakout movie. Top Gun was more popular but came later.

It was definitely "Risky Business". It's the one where he dances around in his underwear. Not a great movie, but a pretty good performance from "Creepy Tom".

I think traditionally it is considered Risky Business, but considering I was way too young to see a R rated movie at the time for me it was Top Gun. I think Top Gun really opened people of all ages eye's to him.

Risky Business. All the right moves was his first movie, but Risky Business was his breakout movie. There was also Top Gun, but Risky Business was before that. Thanks.

He had small parts in two large ensemble cast films: TAPS and The Outsiders, but it was without a doubt Risky Business that launched his career.
