When I turned 18 and found my manhood freedom and it was my first date living on my own with my high school sweetheart and we were at the disco tech and they had a lighted dance floor and were playing our favourite slow song by the Eagles, Cant tell you why... I felt so intoxicated with all these emotions flooding in and the warmth of her skin, the smell of her hair and the tenderness of her smile. There was no other place on Earth at that moment in time while looking into her longing loving eyes.

11 years ago when I knew I was leaving my husband after 18years and a member of my family was ill and having treatment we just had fun and laughed all the time it was like a relief. I am now very happy with someone new and she made a full recovery and is happy. We lived life like every day was our last ha ha we did have fun and look back on it now with smiles on our faces.

The second half of my third year of uni, Jan-May 2003.
I was doing well academically, enjoyed all my courses (psychology, economics, architecture, Spanish, and naval history), had my own room in the dorm (my roommates never really liked my waking up at 0600, even though I tried to be quiet), was in the best shape of my life, and still thought I had a shot at getting my commission.

when i was twenty i became a believer in jesus christ. grew up in a christian home but it was only head knowledge, at twenty it became all about the heart. i know this sounds...can't think of how to put into words... but it is the truth! i finally had peace and purpose and direction. and it was not some "easy" fix or "god" becoming my cosmic genie 'cause life is hard! BUT at least i am not alone now in it and there is meaning behind it. i hate that "christianity" is rejected by the world, but to be honest if i didn't know the real from the false kind (most of all that is seen today) i would reject it too! and yet there IS THE REAL!

I try to make it a point to identify the happiest event in my life everyday.
Makes me appreciate life and being alive.
Usually, it happens when I go home after a busy day in the office and my wife and daughter comes by the door to greet and welcome me home!

It was 1984-85..
