What is the best trike for a 2 year old?
I am buying a trike for my son on his 2nd b-day (in april) and wanted to know what trikes people have liked?

By far the best trikes for a 2 year old are made by Kettler. Below is the website so you can check them out for yourself, but I'll just go over a few of my favorite features. First of all, the frame is built more like a Big Wheel frame rather than your standard red tricycle. This makes it much easier for kids to learn to ride because it is much easier for them to push their legs outward then at a downward angle. Among the Kettler Trikes I have to say that my personal recomendation is to go for a slightly more expensive model like Happy or Jumbo. These trikes are easy to adjust for size (takes like 10 seconds) so they will last until your child is ready to get on a real bike with training wheels. Also they have a pushbar option you can take on and off which is great when you go to the park and they are too tired to ride home. To go along with the push bar, both of these models also have a wheel locking mechanism that you can turn on so that your child can no longer stear with the handles (great so they don't run you into the curbe!!!) The wheels are also freewheeling (like any adult bike) so when you are pushing or your child is going down a hill they won't have to move their legs with the speed of the trike or have their legs get hit by the pedals :)

Also, the trikes are made in Germany and are great quality. They are hvae a lifetime warranty (although it is rare that they will break). I worked at a toystore and a woman once brough in a trike that she had bought 5 years earlier and had taught 3 kids on, and becuase it had a slightly bent axel they replaced it for a brand new nicer model (they didn't even MAKE the model she had brought back anymore)!!
