There's a little debate about it. Officially, it was 1947 that the Mandate changed things and 1948 that everything was finally in place naming the land "Israel". So after that, you might see a map that was already in printing, but it was obsolete by the time it was released.

And then there are Biblical maps which will still show Palestine on them.

Phalasteen, ya Phalasteen. It was a real country with little villages for thousands of years. It still exists whether there is a map or not.

On Arabic maps it has always been there. Check it out.

Palestine as a nation was never on any maps, it never existed. Palestine was the name given to the area that is roughly now Israel by the British when they controlled the territory. Think of Palestine the same way as you would think of the "Indian Territories" during American Imperialism. Were they ever a "nation" (I know that the tribes were a 'nation' but the area was not) no, it was the name given to an area of land. Same for Palestine it was the name given to an area of land but it was never a country

Palestine appeared in the map 1843 years ago, after wiping out Israel of the map.

In 1948 Israel was reinstated in its old traditional territory, and it was Palestine´s turn to be wiped out of the map.
