It all depends on how long your cycles are. You ovulate 14 days before your NEXT period, so this is when your fertile. Take 14 away from the number of days your cycle is long. If you had intercourse up to 5 days prior to that day or about 2 days after there is the chance you could be pregant as that takes into account the life span of sperm in your body (5 days) and the life span of the egg able to be fertilised (2 days) Hope this helps.
