Everyone thinks it's a novel idea but until they are in that position they just don't know what its really all about - know what I mean?
Some people have this idea that by having a baby at that age they'll have someone who will love them back forever because they either feel rejected at home or school or whatever the place is. Having a baby is a HUGE responsibility, it's a fun thought but when it comes down to actual reality it's quite a different story. It's a lot of work and it's not easy. It's totally fantastic though when I hear about other people who find out they are pregnant, especially those who are prepared for it or willing to accept that responsibility. It's magical that's for sure.

Well I'm glad you're sticking to your guns about not being another teen mom.I got pregnant a week after I turned 18 and things have never been the same.I love being a mom but it's hard work and often unrewarding.I know I still have the oportunity to go to college but I wish I had been more strong minded like you and gotten myself a career.Keep up the great work.Maybe someday you'll have kids and know what the hype is about pregnancy.Till then stay strong and get yourself ahead in life. There's nowhere to go but up!!

Maybe because your mature enough to realize a pregnancy at your age will probably destroy your life as a teen and you will fail to enjoy your growing up years ie: high school, college etc.

There is plenty of time for family later in your life. So do not make yourself have to work twice as hard to gain all you desire.

Children are great so are grandchildren, but, in time. You've a long way to go and a lot of life to live. Enjoy it while you can.

Stay just the way you are because pregnancy is no joke.
Your body goes through so many changes that its not even funny.
And after the baby comes, Well don't even think that things go back the way they were. Physically, Mentally, and Emotionally
things change

I think at your age your prospective is right where it should be. The others are just trying to grow up too fast...they don't have a clue as to what happens when your boby completely transforms. Also they are probably more into mothering as well, that might be something that they can't wait to do. Keep your head on...you don't need to agree with them.

Because you are smart and want to make sure that you dont have to be on welfare your entire life because you might actually have a career and a great husband before you have kids. You are very smart, keep that idea in your head for a very long time.
